At the beginning of October of 2021 I was commissioned by an old friend from McDaniel to create a cover for a sci-fi novella he wrote. We both agreed to wait about a year before I shared the cover publicly so he could find a publisher. Because there was no way I could do the cover with my usual ink pens and markers I decided to do the whole thing on Clip Studio Paint and do the text with Inkscape. This was the most ambitious project I did in years and I’m still surprised about how it turned out
